Welcome to blog and website of Sunrise अरुणोदय (Arunoday).
An independent film project by Partho Sen-Gupta, selected at the Open Doors co-production lab of the 64th Locarno Film Festival (2011). This is a new collaborative and crowd-sourced model of film-making. You can find a lot of information regarding the progress of the production, technical information and tests, making of and behind the scenes videos, podcasts, casting information.
Our crowdfunding campaign on indiegogo collected $21,000… and we have collected $20, 410 here, you can still participate in the film by offering your services or by crowd-funding us. All we do here is Open-Source and thus you have access to all the information, but we would love to hear your comments and views.
